Cover & Grill Rack

The fire pit cover and grill rack can be provided if you want. The cover is made of 1.5mm corten steel matched to the fire pit body. The material of grill rack is carbon steel (mild steel). Cooking will become easy with this grll rack. You can bake the food on it directly. You also can place a pot on it to cook. 

 

Maintenance

COR-TEN has served as weathering steel(atmospheric corrosion-resistant steel). It has successfully overcome rust, steel's most weakest, by capitalizing on its unique "rust cures rust" function. When exposed to the atmosphere without painting, COR-TEN begins to rust in the same way as ordinary steel. But soon the alloying elements in COR-TEN cause a protective surface layer of fine-textured rust to form, thereby suppressing corrosion rate.

How to maintain COR-TEN steel products?

The surface of the products have been treated.  There are a few stains at the beginning. Don't worry about this. It will become very few after several months.

• Cor-ten steel products require very little maintenance. The protective coating of rust over the metal means there's no need for painting or costly rust-prevention work. That protective coating also slows the rate of future corrosion.They can hold outside 365 days a year. No storaging needed.

• To prolong the life of corten steel products,  we recommend cleaning the steel with a sturdy brush as often as you can.

• Make sure your product is situated in a place where it can quickly dry after rain.
